Quirky Bird Ceramics Workshop
In this exciting beginners workshop you will learn how to design and construct a beautiful ceramic bird made with stoneware clay. It can be decorated with detailed feathers on the wings, body and tail.

Becky Gillatt runs a number of 3 hour, whole day and evening workshops throughout the year in our jewellery studio. Workshops include cabochon stone setting, spoon making and sea glass setting, all suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.

In this bank holiday weekend workshop, let artist Sally Ellis inspire you to create your own contemporary still life paintings using acrylic paints and inks in our stunning art centre.
Sally will guide you through her unique process which will encourage you to be playful, expressive and brave which you can then adapt accordingly in your own painting.
At the end of the weekend, you will have created up to 2 paintings on artist quality acrylic paper on cradled wooden panels.
On the first Friday of every month the main studio turns in to a working space to paint, draw, or simply have time to work on some ideas with others in a mutually supportive creative atmosphere. Whether you consider yourself an artist, a creative or an art student, we invite you to come and make the most of our great facilities, for only £10 for the day (please book in advance)

We are delighted to have Minnie Teckman return as a tutor with this five-week drawing course to get you started and give you confidence. It is designed to build up your observational drawing skills, as well as exploring and learning techniques. Each week there will be a different theme such as tone and value, line and texture, form and space.
