Becky Gillatt runs a number of 3 hour, whole day and evening workshops throughout the year in our jewellery studio. Workshops include cabochon stone setting, spoon making and sea glass setting, all suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.

Sara Myers’ Saturday life drawing is a relaxed and friendly untutored life drawing group with professional models and lighting, set in our stunning main studio. Each event has a different model and theme carefully chosen to inspire and enhance your drawing skills.
Learn the art of silk painting using wax resist and inks. The wax is applied using “Batik” methods but instead of dipping the fabric into dye, the colour is applied by painting silk inks directly onto the fabric giving much fresher and vibrant results

Enjoy the experience of painting a landscape in acrylics with the advantages of a textured canvas. It can also go directly on your wall without a frame! We will follow a step by step demonstrated approach and you will learn and use a wide range of techniques in the process. This is a two morning course, of 6 hours tuition and follows on from my earlier Yardley Arts courses. New students are welcome!

A two-day course focussing on producing floral oil painting using a loose approach and exploring tone and colour to describe the subject, without overworking.
On the first Friday of every month the main studio turns in to a working space to paint, draw, or simply have time to work on some ideas with others in a mutually supportive creative atmosphere. Whether you consider yourself an artist, a creative or an art student, we invite you to come and make the most of our great facilities, for only £10 for the day (please book in advance)
‘Art on the Wall ‘ is a rolling exhibition of works on the largest wall in the main space at Yardley Arts.
The paintings currently hung at Yardley Arts, as part of Art on the Wall are a cross section of the work illustrating the journey of Sally Pennycate's professional art career.
