Becky Gillatt runs a number of 3 hour, whole day and evening workshops throughout the year in our jewellery studio. Workshops include cabochon stone setting, spoon making and sea glass setting, all suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.

A relaxed silver jewellery making evening with soft drinks and nibbles. In this taster session you can choose between making a pendant or earrings and add a touch of gold foil. You will learn how to apply texture to sheet silver, planish, form a wide ring, form bracelet links in wire, make a clasp, solder and polish.
Long pose sessions, once a month. Come and draw – in a great space – relaxed, easy going and untutored. You will have a single long pose over a two and a half hour session, during which you can draw or paint (non-toxic low odour paints only). Each session will have a different set up and those attending can help determine the pose. You will have access to a variety of great models and tutor Sara Myers.
Join friendly and experienced artist and tutor, Nicky Hunter and learn how to paint a simple snow scene in the loose and lively watercolour style. Focus will be on ‘less is more’, we’ll be painting a couple of simple paintings of misty fir trees and skeletal winter trees, long cast shadows capturing the cool winter light in the crisp white snow, and maybe adding a figure or two if you wish.
