Becky Gillatt runs a number of 3 hour, whole day and evening workshops throughout the year in our jewellery studio. Workshops include cabochon stone setting, spoon making and sea glass setting, all suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.

We are offering the main studio as a working space to artists/art students/creatives to paint, draw, or simply have time to work on some ideas in a creative supportive atmosphere.
Here is an opportunity for all past and current learners that would like to practice their skills, use tools that they may not have in their home workshop and complete their own projects without guidance. You must be confident enough to use tools and equipment in the workshop without tuition.

A one-day workshop with tutor, Cordell Garfield, based on a step-by-step process to create a portrait from a photographic reference.
Use dies, inks, pigment pens and stamps to create colourful patterns on aluminium sheet in this workshop with silversmith, Beccy Gillatt. You will then be guided through all the techniques needed to turn your artworks into beautiful striking pieces of jewellery.
Saturday Art Club is a monthly club for children aged 7-12 years. Each month, we explore different art forms and media, learning new skills and techniques. Printmaking, drawing, collage and painting are just a few of the art forms you can try.
A gloriously colourful 7-day exhibition of nature and plant life seen through the eyes of many local artists. This exciting and dynamic show aims to illustrate the many ways in which nature and botanical matter can be seen and expressed in art.
Learn how to encase sea glass with fine silver to create pendants or earrings in this half-day workshop with Beccy Gillatt. You will be gently guided through all the techniques to enable you to make your very own pieces of jewellery from these treasures of the sea.
Come and learn how to create a wide textured band and add two spinning components. You will be guided through different ways to add textures with hammers and a rolling mill. We'll use traditional silver soldering and forming techniques, as well as polishing processes to create your very own spinner ring. Materials are included in the course fee.
