Linocut - Reduction Technique

Join Kat Lendacka for two four-hour workshops to learn linocut reduction technique and create your own colourful linocuts. A reduction print is made by gradually carving away more lino after each layer is printed. The process of carving away and printing is repeated on the same block until the final print is built up. 

Some previous experience of linocut is required.

Looking at the impressionist flower painting of the French painter Berthe Morisot, we will paint a loose, expressive flower bouquet using acrylic paints in spring colours.
