Always wanted to work in clay and learn to mould and cast? This is an easy 2-hour workshop for adults and children of 8 and over (children under 12 must be accompanied). At the end of the workshop you will take home your own Plaster of Paris relief.

The course is led by Clare Abbatt, a classically trained sculptor.

Preparation

All materials are included in the cost of the course, and there will be modelling tools available. Tea, coffee and squash are available at the arts centre.

What to wear

Clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and a large canvas apron, overalls or smock is ideal. Plaster can ruin clothes, so wear decorating or gardening clothes, or even a large old shirt.
