This 5-week course is a general introduction to drawing in a casual and friendly environment. It will consist of a variety of exercises, with dedicated sessions looking at line and tone, still life, portraiture and life drawing. You'll enjoy a varied selection and there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion.

The course is led by classically trained sculptor Sara Myers.

What to bring

Basic materials will be provided. These include paper, willow charcoal, pencils, rubbers and masking tape. Please feel free to bring any favourite drawing media, and sketchbooks if you prefer.

What to wear

Just wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting charcoal on.

Thursdays 1.30pm to 3.30pm starting on Thursday 11 January for five weeks.
