Monet's Garden Model Making for Children (afternoon workshop)

In this workshop run by Sue Jefferson, your child/ren will create a 3D model of Monet’s garden. We will start with the background, using Sharpie pens and Alcohol inks on a piece of acetate. Next, we will create willow and creepers using finger knitting. Finally, we will create colourful lilies, using cake cases and wool flowers made on a flower loom.

What to bring

All materials are provided, just bring an apron/old shirt for your child/ren.

Cold drinks and biscuits are available. Please bring anything else your child might require, if needed for special diet or medical reasons.

Cost

£15 per child. Suitable for ages 7-11. Spaces limited to 12.

About the tutor

Sue Jefferson loves to share her passion for art. Her skills have developed over the past 20 years, while been running Arts Weeks and exciting art projects in primary schools. This has given Sue many opportunities to try new mediums, such as wet felting and screen printing and glass fusing – she loves playing with the vibrant colours and light in glass.
