A successful week at the Big Draw Festival at Yardley Arts
Over 150 children and adults took part in the Big Draw Festival at Yardley Arts this October. Billed as the world’s biggest celebration of drawing, it encourages everyone to take part and embrace drawing in sessions offered for free. Five sessions were put on by the art centre, led by local artists and every single one was fully booked by people, young and old, in the local community.
Each day, we covered different drawing styles including Mandalas, perspective, contours and Mexican patterns. The feedback received was wonderful and a number of sessions will be offered again in the future so keep looking at our What’s On page.
